Vacaville Unified School District Governing Board
Overview
The Vacaville Unified School District Governing Board consists of seven members. School Board elections are held on even-numbered years, with members elected to serve staggered four-year terms.
The basic functions of the Board are to establish the policies by which the schools of the District are to be administered and to select the Superintendent and staff who will implement those policies. The Board shall be responsible for the organization and operation of the District in conformity with the rules and regulations of the State Board of Education and the laws of the State and Federal Government.

Board Meetings
Board meetings are held at the VUSD Educational Services Center, located at 401 Nut Tree Drive, and are generally held on two Thursdays each month with some exceptions due to school breaks/holidays. Special meetings are called as needed. Please call the Superintendent's Office at (707) 453-6101 to verify meeting dates, times and locations.
