Dear Orchard Families,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I am honored and excited to join the Orchard Elementary community as your new principal. I look forward to getting to know our incredible students, families, and staff while building on the strong traditions that make Orchard such a special place to learn and grow.
At Orchard Elementary, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student is challenged to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers deliver rigorous, high-quality instruction while fostering creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and a genuine love of learning. We believe that every child can succeed when high expectations are paired with meaningful support and strong relationships.
As a proud STEAM school, Orchard inspires students through learning experiences that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. Our students are encouraged to ask questions, solve real-world problems, think creatively, and develop the skills they need to become confident learners and future leaders.
We are also proud to continue our work as an AVID Elementary school. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) helps equip all students with the organizational, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills needed for lifelong success. Together, we will continue to strengthen these essential skills while preparing students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
I believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. I encourage you to become involved by joining our Parent Teacher Club, volunteering when possible, and participating in the many events and activities that make our Orchard community so vibrant. Together, we can create an exceptional educational experience for every Owl.
