As a paraprofessional in our Emotionally Disturbed classroom for over 10 years, Sunita has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication to supporting our students' social-emotional needs and academic success. 

One of her greatest strengths is establishing and maintaining a positive rapport with students and staff. She has a warm and caring demeanor that instantly puts students at ease and creates a safe and inclusive learning environment. Sunita is highly skilled at building trusting relationships with students, which allows them to effectively support and guide students through their emotional challenges. 

In addition to her excellent rapport with students, she has a remarkable ability to problem-solve and think critically in challenging situations. She has a calm and composed demeanor, even in crisis situations, and she can quickly assess and address the needs of our students. Sunita consistently demonstrates strong problem-solving strategies and can easily adapt to changing situations. 

Furthermore, she has received extensive training in de-escalation strategies, which she consistently applies in the classroom. She has a deep understanding of our students' unique needs. She can effectively de-escalate situations to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff. Sunita's training and expertise in de-escalation strategies have been invaluable in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. 

Sunita is also highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that all PERL paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and on time. She understands the importance of documentation in a special education classroom. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that all paperwork is completed thoroughly and in a timely manner. 

Overall, Sunita is an exceptional paraprofessional who consistently goes above and beyond to support our students and create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Her excellent communication skills, problem-solving strategies, and training in de-escalation strategies make her an invaluable asset to our team.
